Lateral North were commissioned to create high quality 3D models of key tourist attractions that are accessed from Scotrail's Highland Main Line route.
The sites of Carrbridge Packhorse Bridge, Clava Cairns prehistoric burial monuments and Dunkeld Cathedral were captured by drone and constructed into a digital model using the process of photogrammetry.
The models were integrated into the Highland Discovery app and could be explored in augmented reality via a smartphone.
